Second session of the call for applications for participation in the Personnel Exchange System for organisations providing social services

The Open Society Institute - Sofia announces the launch of the second call for applications for personnel exchange among organisations active in the social field. The initiative is supported by the European Commission and aims at encouraging partnership among Bulgarian and Romanian civil society organisations and EU-based networks for improvement of the social environment.  

Besides trans-border exchange, the project will encourage exchange initiatives including experts from Bulgaria and Romania and the other EU member states and their network organisations. The call is open to non-governmental organisations, as well as to other agencies involved in different aspects of social service provision. Priority will be given to applications, envisioning exchange of practical experience, know-how and innovative methods of work.

- For sending and/or hosting organisation can apply basically Bulgarian and Romanian organisations, however the call is open also to organisations form the other EU member states. In order to apply, interested organisation shall preliminarily identify their prospective partner hosting/sending foreign organisation.
- The exchange shall be carried out in the period specified by the applying organisation, between 20 July and 30 September 2007.
- Based on a competitive selection procedure OSI-S will cover the travelling costs and per diems of organisations’ representatives that have submitted the most competitive applications.   

Interested organisations can apply for hosting and/or sending organisations by filling in the respective application forms (you can download the form from the Next Mile Project’s website: www.nextmile.eu) and e-mailing it to egospodinova@osf.bg no latter than July 15.
