Forum for the District Consultative Councils

Starting with this week, the Euroregional Center for Democracy offers the citizens of Timisoara the possibility to express their point of view with regard to problems in their district  through the Forum www.ccc.ecomunicare.ro.
 
The Forum includes a general section for debates on isues of general interest, and an individual section for each of the 12 District Consultative Councils that were founded so far. Citizens who identify a problem in their district or wish to debate issues of general interest with other citizens from Timisoara can now access the Forum at the above-mentioned link.
 
Also, citizens who want to be actively involved in solving certain problems of the community or the district they live in can participate in meetings with members of their district consultative council, usually organized at the local school. The contact information for the representatives of the district consultative councils ca be found on the forum.


The activity is part of the Pro communitas project, implemented with the support of the EUROPEAN UNION through the Phare 2003 Program – Strenghtening Civil Society in Romania.
